DMIT is an abbreviation of “Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Test”.

As per the scientific researches there are no two identical fingerprints, even identical twins will also do not have same fingerprints. These fingerprint patterns remain the same during the lifetime.
DMIT technique has been developed by scientists and research experts from world renowned universities and is based on knowledge from Genetics, Embryology, Dermatoglyphics, Psychology and Neuroscience.
DMIT Test Technique uses the Theory of Multiple Intelligence given by Dr. Howard Earl Gardner ( create link to know more about Dr. Howard Gardner). For more details about Theory of Multiple Intelligence by Dr. Howard Earl Gardner , please refer to the book “Frames of Mind “.

History of DMIT
Dermatoglyphics is the study of dermal ridges on palms and soles. Since 1823 scientists have discovered that finger prints and innate intelligence are related. Through many medical researches it is found that finger prints are formed during the 13th to 19th prenatal week.
Study of the finger prints and can be traced back to 1892 by Sir Francis Galton, a cousin of Charles Darwin, published his non classical work on finger prints.
He conducted extensive research into the significance of skin ridge patterns not only to demonstrate their permanence and consequently their use as a means of identification, but also to demonstrate the hereditary significance of fingerprints and to show the biological variations of different fingerprint patterns amongst different racial groups. He collected vast numbers of fingerprints from all types of people, noting the variations of pattern types amongst different races and established the relative frequency
However, the main breakthrough in establishing the significance of the dermatoglyphic analysis of the hand came with the publication of the results of the research of Harold Cummins and Charles Midlo in their seminal work ‘Fingerprints Palms and Soles’ in 1943.
Cummins and Charles Midlo were professors of Microscopic Anatomy at Tulane University in the United States, and it was they who in fact coined the term ‘dermatoglyphics’ in 1926 (derma = skin, glyph = carving). The main thrust of their research was into Down’s syndrome and the characteristic hand formations it produces. They showed that the hand contained significant dermatoglyphic configurations that would assist the identification of mongolism in the new-born child and thus they set the stage for much of the later dermatoglyphic research work. Let’s explore about Dermatoglyphics history.

Where can I give my fingerprints for the DMIT test?
Either you come to our office ( DMIT Center , Shop No-47 ,Sec-40 ,Huda Market, Gurgaon ,Haryana , Pin ;122001 ,India ) or we will come to your place to collect the fingerprints. Fingerprints scanning will take only 10-15 mins.
Do fingerprints of an individual remain the same for lifetime?
Yes. Our fingerprints are formed in the womb and the “basic” pattern remains the same our whole life.
How is our Brain and Fingerprints related?
In the earlier days, American doctors made the discovery of a strange case where the foetus was born without a brain and the syndrome was named “Anencephaly”. In Anencephaly Syndrome, the doctor discovered that with the absence of the brain even the fingerprints areas were missing. Cases like this have been reported throughout history.
It is also observed that during pregnancy, fingerprints and brain development happens simultaneously during week 13 to week 21, which made medical experts believe that the brain is related to the fingerprints.
How is DMIT different from conventional methods?
Conventional Testing uses the questionnaire format, where most of the time answers can be influenced by the current emotional and mental state, whereas since DMIT analysis is based on fingerprints, which provides information on the person’s inborn abilities and thus it is unaffected by present conditions or parameters.
Is Dermatoglyphics related to Palmistry?
No. Palmistry is the divination of the future through the interpretation of lines of the palms whereas Dermatoglyphics is the science of comparing analysis and classification of patterns of the skin grains and ridges of each person’s fingerprints. DMIT does not predict the future but rather gives a comprehensive insight into one’s innate or inborn intelligence distribution, potentials, preferred learning and communication styles.
What is the accuracy levels of the DMIT test?
Our fingerprints are determined by our DNA and they have a direct co-relation to our brain’s makeup. At the 13th week of an embryo in the womb, skin ridges which cannot be changed in one’s lifetime begin to appear and are complete until the 24th week. This is in tandem with the embryo’s brain development. There is a very high degree of accuracy on the outcome of the DMIT analysis based on this co-relation of the brain and fingerprints formation.
What happens during a DMIT Assessment?
During a DMIT test, we will first need to collect your fingerprints. All you need to do is place each finger on a biometric scanner (shape of a computer mouse) that scans your prints. These prints are then analysed and within a week you will receive your DMIT report. The report will be presented to you along with a counselling session . During the counselling, along with the report interpretation you will also be advised on the strengths and weaknesses and given remedies for the same.
Is this DMIT and counselling a One-Time interaction?
Yes. You need to do the Life stage report only once in your lifetime. The counselling which is a part of the offering will also give you an in-depth knowledge on the report analysis. However, if you need any specific assistance in the future, you can reach out to us and we will organize a new counselling session for further analysis of the specific issue in the report. In such a case, only the counselling fees would be applicable.
